The Golden Years
I look myself in the mirror
And I saw more wrinkles on my face
And while nourishing with oils my body
I noticed how gravity is performing its game
I know soon I will connect to reality
And the social order called "The golden age"
Although "golden" symbolized...
luminous and opulence
The downside of the story is...youth will fade away
What will happen then, will you still love me?
Or maybe you'll be attracted to a younger girl
And the love you gave me while we lived together
Like my youth be gone.. perhaps faded away?
Tell me now because I am still strong
I can find my way even though I am old
My heart still beats and my skin feels
The passion for life and the fire of love
I just want to know why the "golden years"
Are announce with pride like a better life
When I see reality in my own experience
Life falling apart... Vanished... gone astray
