Confusion

When I look at your eyes

I see pain...I see anger and confusion

I wish I could ease your displeasure

and let peace come again

Something got lost in the middle of our love...our friendship

Something you might not see... is hurting my soul ...my heart

Different beings we are now, you give up ...

I feel powerless

I don’t know to say in plain words...

whatever is within me

We promised "Our love be devoted

and always care for each other

Through the best and worst"... remember?

In time of need even more

Is midnight ...  can't sleep ...my eyes are covered with tears

Tears afraid of showing when you are looking at my face

Instead you see angry outburst of unrefined emotions

Bloody painful emotions stinging like knives my chest

I remember the old days when we use to say "we are different

...and is because that situation we are together now " Like two creeks that ends its sequence

and at the end link the river

Our souls will find no differences

...bond as one...  in endless   love

Irresistible  conversations... good  manners... first class champagne

Dancing at the stage like lovers  

who will never  be  apart

Those are the days I remember,

now everything turn to be  a schedule

Routine  confine our lives  

crashing  both deep inside

Tomorrow...another day,

I might pretend nothing happens

Life, as we agree, will continue,

you...going your way... I may too

Until one way or another

... when we might cross on each other

You might not recognize me... or ...
