As I Walk in Chicago...

I was walking the streets in Chicago
Feeling the grief and pain of the man I love
When I saw the wonders of nature
So close to those marvels . humans are proud of

As I stroll the downtown,

the buildings were amazing
As were remarkable its silhouettes

in its various forms
However my surprise were

the great amount of tulips
In every block I walked.

in every window door

And I kept going down. looking at the suburbs
When a delightful view filled my eyes with joy
The houses looked like toys...

 some roads lined with forests
The wind blowing across

in tunes and in sweet songs

I realized now my darling

how happy was your mother
Living her life surrounded

by the beauty of your hometown
I comprehend the stories

she told me at each occasion
Now that I met her family

and saw the place you were born

 I will remember her,

the lady I also called "mother"
Who devote her life

in abundant worship and care for
The tulips I saw in her garden

were leading our journey
As a sign that she will forever

care for us with profound love
